Joy of Love
This is a great outlet to use for photo challenges! I just realized that I need to get in the game on that stuff! I entered a photo challenge for the month of February called The Joy of Love. It's a month of documenting loved ones in photos. I'm looking forward to learning and growing some more!

"Gone Fishin'" Anniversary
Rich and I reached our 1 year mark of marriage yesterday. Does this mean we aren't considered newlyweds anymore?
We feel like the past year has just flown by (as well as the last three years we have been together), but I gotta say that our first year together as husband and wife has been amazing.
We started the day off with some fishing at a lake nearby our house. Lately, I’ve had the itch to do some fishing and we thought this would be the perfect opportunity. I haven’t fished since I was a kid, so I was a little rusty. It didn’t take me long though, to get back into the swing of things. Even Rich said that I throw a pretty good line!
Papa Richs’ old fishing box that came in really handy. There were hooks, bobbers, weights and all this other stuff that was foreign to me.

Rich getting his line ready.

Me finding the perfect worm for my fishies.

And even hooking my own bait.

Dinner at Maceio in downtown San Jose. The owner was there and gave us our own little “hanky panky” room as they called it for us love birds.
It was such a great day for us. Cheers to many more years together!
